Kristian Carlsson's Dhaka Poems were written in Bangladesh in 2014 and in 2017. The poems are accompanied by pictures taken during those journeys, and at his third visit to Bangladesh, in 2018. Dhaka Poems is a bilingual edition, with Bengali translations by Moom Rahaman.

Kristian Carlsson (b. 1978) lives in Malmö, Sweden. Since his debut in 1996, he has published a considerable amount of poetry and conceptual writings, as well as a fair amount of translations. He writes poetry in both Swedish and English.
