Company history
The Marquise Museum of Contemporary Art is based in a Central European border town with rich cultural heritage grown out of centuries of prosperous family partnerships with prestigious western institutions like Lazard Fréres whose acclaimed history is legendary within Wall Street's financial socialite. The Vision, using ground breaking artistic contributions of a Scion of the Lazard fortune who is also a Museum Fellow and sponsor, is to assume a market leadership position in the corporate & institutional art sector while facilitating diplomatic exchanges between global industrial & academic powerhouses through use of a common visual language. To inspire and attract new collectors with creative displays that reimagine socio cultural & economic values in the 21st century. Between sprawling airports and busy commercial centers, The Marquise Museum provides an intimate space where central motifs of mythology and the hunt reinforces its modern relevance in an abstract and reinterpreted expressionism.

We leave you with a few quotes by Mr. Alan Bamberger extracted from his book ”The Art of Buying Art”:
”Art stimulates conversation, dialogue and interchange even between total strangers who might never otherwise say a single word to each other. It gives people permission to share thoughts, feelings, ideas and impressions that they might not ordinarily share. It personalizes and humanizes the places where we live and work, revives lifeless interiors, homes as well as businesses, and transforms them into unique, beautiful and engaging environments. For those so inclined, art can be used to signify wealth, success or power and can even be used to intimidate.”
”An original work of Art is not only visually appealing, but it also radiates the personality, abilities, creativity, insight, inspiration, technical mastery, attitudes, and at its best, the brilliance and genius of the artist who created it. People who own art are not only able to experience, but also be inspired and uplifted by these qualities.”
