Vykort med flygmotiv har framställts sedan 1910 i Sverige. Många av dessa har givits ut i mycket stora upplagor medan andra på grund av små upplagor är relativt sällsynta. Boken vänder sig till flygintresserade som vill veta mer om flygvykort, och till vykortssamlare som vill veta mer om motiv, fotografer och förlag. I boken återges över 250 vykort, nästan alla av det äldre formatet -det som gällde fram till 1960-talets mitt.
