The book is written for anyone who does, or wants to embark on, a psychological or spiritual journey for themselves. It combines traditional theories with ancient wisdom and can, with advantage, be used as a handbook for personal development. Katarina Mannheimer Ahlström has a doctorate degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago, USA. She is a former associate professor at the School of Social Work at Stockholm University, Sweden. She is also a trained practitioner within a number of different therapeutic techniques and methods. Today, she is mainly active as a public speaker, seminar-leader, psychodynamic therapist and hypnotherapist. Besides her nearly 25 year long academic journey, she has been on an equally long spiritual dito. This is her first book about personal development.
