One to One is the first book on the work of Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter, and its publication marks the firm's tenth anniversary. Encompassing twenty selected design projects that range from buildings and interiors to furniture and objects, this generously illustrated monograph is interlaced with a series of reflective and personal essays that give insight into Andreas Martin-Löf's work process and provide context for the firm's work. The book also includes an introduction by design critic Hugo Macdonald, who has followed Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter's development closely over the last decade.
"Andreas speaks of respect and responsibility. He acknowledges that evolution and improvement are more appropriate qualities to strive for than novelty for novelty s sake. This makes for coherent architecture that can be simultaneously rigorous and playful, robust and refined."
NB: The book has two different covers with belly bands featuring two different images of architectural projects.
