Monica L Edmondson är en uppmärksammad konstnär, född och uppvuxen i Gällivare, som efter studier i Australien återvände till norra Sverige där hon etablerade sig som konstnär med inriktning glas. Sedan 2002 arbetar hon från egen glasateljé och verkstad i Tärnaby. I Monicas arbeten möter den samiska kulturen det internationella, både tekniskt och konceptuellt, ofta med tydliga influenser från den vidsträckta vita vintern.
