Description
This book is medicine. It's a
kick-in-the-pants wake-up call,
and boy, do you need it."
New York Times bestselling author
(Kiss and Make-up) GENE SIMMONS
returns to explain his life philosophies:
how he's gotten more sex, money and KISS
than he ever imagined...and how you can too:"Let's face it, just because I stick out my
tongue a lot and spit fire doesn't mean I
have any qualifications to advise anyone on
relationship, money or career issues. I
don't. Yet I've lived with a beautiful woman
for twenty years with never a cross word
between us, in a relationship based on
honesty and full disclosure. I've amassed a
fortune - and "expert business people"
work for me. And for three decades I've
been in KISS - a band that has scaled
the heights and broken every possible
record, from album sales to touring to
merchandising and licensing.
What I have always had (thanks in full
to my mother's wisdom) is an abiding faith
in me. Call it a 'life philosophy': a
philosophy about money (mine!) and
happiness (mine again).
It works for me. It can work for you!YOU'VE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE.
THIS TIME, LISTEN!
I want to pump you full of hope. I
want to shake you inside out and make
you realize that you, too, can have
access to the American Dream. I spell
that dream C-A-S-H. Once you realize
that, and get comfortable with the idea that
'Me' is what it's all about, you'll be on your way.
What will you say right before they put you
six feet under? Will you say:
'I wish I would have.'
'I wish I could have.'
'I wish I should have...'
Or will you say, 'I did it all. Thank you and
good night.'"
GENE SIMMONS co-founded KISS thirty
years ago with Paul Stanley. KISS is
America's number one gold record award
winning group and has broken every
attendance record set by Elvis Presley and the
Beatles. KISS continues to be the juggernaut
of the licensing and merchandising world
with over 2,000 licenses from KISS condoms,
and KISS Visa cards, to KISS caskets.
Gene Simmons is the founder and
publisher of his own magazine, Gene
Simmons Tongue and was president of his
own record label, Simmons Records/RCA.
As a manager, Gene oversaw the musical
careers of other recording artists, including
Liza Minnelli, and he discovered Van
Halen. He acted in motion pictures like
Runaway and Wanted: Dead or Alive, and
produced New Line Cinema's Detroit Rock
City. He also has his own clothing imprint,
and recently launched his first lecture tour.
