All aspects of the PASGT Helmet are covered, including the early research and development efforts that resulted in the final helmet design and construction. The book supplements coverage of this early period with photographs of the various helmets. The book also provides a detailed look at helmet production, including the ground troop’s helmet, parachutist’s helmet, and helmet covers. The production history of every major manufacturer is also provided. Every production helmet is covered with full color photographs, including details and production markings. Also included are contract sheets and military specification drawings.
